Meet 23 db Productions – Fela Davis and Denis Orynbekov use their extensive knowledge of both live and studio audio production to provide a one-stop shop for great live, studio or social media content. They will be sharing with us some of their recent projects.
The Christian McBride Big Band at Toronto Jazz Festival performing “In the Wee Hours” featuring a solo from tenor saxophonist Loren Schoenberg. All audio was recorded, mixed and mastered by SoundGirls.org members 23db Productions.
Mix Tip:
23 db Productions relied on the Lewitt LCT 240 condenser diaphragm microphone and GK bass amp direct out on Christian’s bass for the lush tone during the bow section. We’re very fortunate the Christian doesn’t use use stage monitors so no feedback problems coming from monitor world. Condenser mics can be used live if the conditions are right!
