Dear SoundGirls.Org Members and Supporters,
Seasons Greetings. SoundGirls.Org wishes you a Happy Holiday Holiday Season and all the best in 2014.

It has been less than a year since we launched SoundGirls.Org and it has already expanded in directions that we could not envision a year ago.  From the beginning we have been humbled by the amount of positive support from the industry and women worldwide. We have enjoyed meeting and connecting with talented women working in professional audio and sharing their stories with you. We are also encouraged by the amount of interest from young women and girls wishing to enter the field of sound.

In just nine months SoundGirls.Org has shared monthly profiles on women working in the industry, blogs dealing with real world problems, travel and adventure, and just starting out in the industry. We have brought you unique articles and interviews, and a wide range of topics in the forums. We want to remind you to check the website as new profiles, blogs, and articles are added weekly, and like us on Facebook for updates and articles of interest.

The next year promises to be a busy one, as we seek to establish non-profit 501c3 status and begin to offer scholarships to young women and men wishing to pursue an education in professional audio. SoundGirls.Org will work to expand educational outreach in our communities and at the high school level. We plan to continue to expand content on the website to include more video content, member generated articles, educational blogs, and to continually expand the support platform. We hope to achieve a balance of content that appeals to both industry professionals and young woman wishing to enter into professional audio.  SoundGirls.Org welcomes your thoughts, ideas, and encourages you to get involved.

We would like to thank our supporters that made so much possible this last year
