Shadowing FOH/TM Tim Harding – Queensrÿche

Tim Harding has invited SoundGirls Members to shadow him on Queensrÿche, where he is the FOH Engineer and Tour Manager. The day will consist of the following schedule:

Show Available

With more than 25 years in the trenches, Tim’s career has taken him from a lowly guitar and keyboard tech for Kenny G to tour managing and front of house mixing for acts including Metal Church, Michael Schenker, and Winger. His background in everything from metal fests to corporates keeps him busy in the Seattle area where he is most often found working as an A1 and A2 at various stadiums, arenas, and theaters throughout the region. When not making stuff loud, he can be found at Harding Acres getting his hands dirty on the property.

Shadowing Opportunity w/ FOH Engineer Kevin Madigan

SoundGirls Members who are actively pursuing a career in Live Sound or Concert Production are invited to shadow FOH Engineer Kevin Madigan.

The experience will focus on FOH Mixing. This is open to SoundGirls members ages 18 and over. There is one spot available for each show. Call times are TBD, and members will most likely be invited to stay for the show (TBD).

Kevin is currently on tour Santana.

Shadowing Opportunity w/ ME Aaron Foye

SoundGirls Members who are actively pursuing a career in Live Sound or Concert Production are invited to shadow Monitor Engineer Aaron Foye. Aaron is currently on tour with Willie Nelson.

The experience will focus on monitor mixing. This is open to SoundGirls members ages 18 and over. There are two spots available for each show. Most call times will be at 11 am (TBD) and members will most likely be invited to stay for the show (TBD).

Shadow Gil Eva Craig – NZ & Australia

Gil Eva Craig will be touring NZ and Australia running monitors for the Pink Floyd Experience and has invited SoundGirls Members to shadow her. Please plan to work the entire show with her.

Gil Eva Craig is an independent Audio Engineer and Music Producer working in professional audio for over 20 years. Gil got her start as a recording engineer in 1996 and still owns and operates her own mixing and production studio. She is a partner and runs Western Audio Engineering, a professional live sound production company.

About FOH Engineer Greg Price: As a live-sound engineer, Greg Price has worked with some of the biggest rock bands around. In addition to Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath, Greg has mixed everyone from Kiss, Chicago, Aerosmith, and Van Halen right through to Rage Against The Machine, Limp Bizkit, Velvet Revolver and Foo Fighters. Price also spent a very memorable eight years with Glen Campbell in the 1980s and even earned a few pop stripes a decade ago when he engineered for Hannah Montana (aka Miley Cyrus), Christina Aguilera and the Cheetah Girls. Shadow Beth O’Leary ME Tech on Kylie Minogue

SoundGirls Members who are actively pursuing a career in Live Sound or Concert Production are invited to shadow monitor system tech Beth O’Leary on Kylie Minogue.

Beth O’Leary is a freelance live sound engineer and tech-based in Sheffield, England. Over the last ten years, she has done everything from pushing boxes in tiny clubs to touring arenas and spends a lot of her life in muddy fields working on most of the major festivals in the UK. She has a particular passion for flying PA, the black magic that is RF, travel, and good coffee.
