Jett Galindo carries on the legacy left behind by her late mentor\, mastering legend Doug Sax (The Mastering Lab). Recipient of Summa Cum Laude honors and the 2012 Robin Coxe-Yeldham Audio Scholar Award from Berklee College of Music\, Jett Galindo was mentored by luminaries in the music industry including George Massenburg; producer Prince Charles Alexander; recording engineer Susan Rogers (Prince’s Purple Rain); and mastering engineer and AES President-elect\, Jonathan Wyner. Jett kickstarted her post-Berklee engineering career in the world-renowned Avatar Studios in New York (now known as Power Station) as the recording engineer for producer Jerry Barnes. Her work’s core mission is always focused on connecting fans with more music and getting artists paid. She is the Archives Committee Chair & Video Editor for the Association For Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC) and recently joined Universal Music Group’s Strategy & Tactics Team to focus on new products. \n  \nLenise Bent – Producer & Recording Engineer (Los Angeles\, CA) \nLenise is a groundbreaking recording engineer\, known for her work on many iconic records including “Aja” by Steely Dan\, “Breakfast in America” by Supertramp and “Tusk” by Fleetwood Mac.  She was also the first woman to receive a platinum album for engineering on Blondie’s AutoAmerican. Since then\, Lenise has moved into post-production audio\, beginning with the entire Disney cartoon catalog\, eventually specializing in recording and editing Foley. She has also traveled the world for Dreamworks supervising and producing the foreign dialogue and vocals for “Shrek\,” “Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron” and “Shrek 2”. This rekindled her love of recording music\, and she is now engineering and producing up and coming musicians as well as seasoned artists. Currently\, one of her projects\, a blues/rock band called the Primal Kings\, is all-analog\, recording and mixing to tape and cutting vinyl. \nRobyn Raymond – Lacquer Cutter\, Red Spade Records | former QA Engineer\, Precision Record Pressing (Ontario\, Canada) \nOwner of Ontario based Red Spade Records\, Robyn is the only female record cutter in Canada.  She cuts short-run\, lathe cut records on a desktop Vinyl Recorder T-560\, apprentices on a VMS70 and formerly worked in the QA department at a Precision Record Pressing. \n

The stress and fear that have come from this pandemic\, along with the global loss and isolation required to combat this are the perfect ingredients for psychological trauma and even Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). \nWhen the dust settles from this crisis\, almost everyone will be impacted and many in the Live Event Industry are experiencing trauma due to the loss of employment\, income\, and loss of doing a job we love. \nThe good news is that there are a lot of therapists out there who are trained in trauma who can help. \nKaprece Stallings\, MS is a Registered Mental Health Counselor and will be joining SoundGirls to offer tips\, advice\, and how to navigate through the trauma our industry is experiencing. \nKaprece Stallings\, MS is a Registered Mental Health Counselor (psychotherapist)\, IMH 17304\, in the state of Florida. She has a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association. Kaprece She specializes in trauma-informed therapy.  She has worked with adults\, teens\, and children with physical\, emotional\, and sexual abuse issues along with first-responders with PTSD issues. She also has experience working with adults and teens with depression\, anxiety\, substance abuse\, self-esteem issues\, broken relationships\, and spiritual issues. Kaprece is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)\, and Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI). She is also certified to assess temperament/personality through the Arno Profile System.

She is also a freelance re-recording mixer and sound editor\, and owner of Mix Messiah Productions. She has a Heartland Emmy nomination for the film “Enough White Teacups”\, directed by Michelle Carpenter. \n\nAi-Ling Lee was born in Singapore where she studied music audio engineering. After two years of mixing and editing commercials and music\, she moved to Los Angeles in 1998 to pursue a career in sound design for feature films. Since then she has worked as a sound designer\, re-recording mixer\, and sound supervisor on a variety of films including Jojo Rabbit\, La La Land\, First Man\, Deadpool\, Wild\, Spider-Man 2 (Sam Raimi) and Buena Vista Social Club. Ai-Ling has had the opportunity to work with directors Damien Chazelle\, Taika Waititi\, Jean-Mar Valée\, Noah Hawly\, Wess Ball\, Cameron Crowe\, Gus Van Sant\, and Sam Raimi\, to name a few. \nPaula Fairfield is an International and Emmy award-winning sound designer for tv\, film\, commercials\, and basically anything that makes noise. She has 10 Emmy nominations with two wins for her work on Game of Thrones\, along with multiple wins and nominations for her work in both The US and Canada. During her career\, she has had the privilege of working on tv projects such as the iconic “LOST” and visionary filmmakers like Robert Rodriguez\, Brian DePalma\, Paul McGuigan\, and Darren Aronofsky.
